Full day, Dubai pickup
Abu Dhabi City Tour from Dubai
- Private vehicle and English speaking guide
- Written price confirmed before you pay
- Flexible pickup points across Abu Dhabi
About this tour
Staying in Dubai but want to see Abu Dhabi properly rather than just say you did? This is the tour built specifically for that cross-city logistics problem. A private vehicle collects you from your Dubai hotel early, makes the roughly ninety minute to two hour drive south, and gives you a full day among the capital's landmark sights before driving you back to Dubai the same evening. No hotel change, no packing an overnight bag, just one very full day.
We'll be honest about the trade-off, because we'd rather you book the right thing than be disappointed. This is a long day, with three to four hours of driving eaten out of it before you even reach the mosque. It's the right choice if a single day is genuinely all your Dubai trip allows for Abu Dhabi. If you have more flexibility, splitting the drive across an overnight stay, or considering one of our multi-day tour packages that already includes Abu Dhabi nights, will feel considerably less rushed.

Questions people ask us
Is a day trip from Dubai to Abu Dhabi actually worth it?
For most first time visitors, yes, provided you know it's a full, long day rather than a relaxed one. You'll genuinely see the Grand Mosque and the capital's other headline sights. If you'd rather not rush, consider one of our multi-night packages that includes Abu Dhabi accommodation instead.
How long does the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi take?
Around ninety minutes to two hours each way depending on traffic and your exact pickup location in Dubai, so roughly three to four hours of the day is spent driving there and back.
Where in Dubai do you pick up from?
Most Dubai hotels and residences, including Downtown, Dubai Marina, JBR and Deira. Tell us your hotel when you book and we'll confirm the pickup time and any adjustment needed for your specific area.
How much does this cost compared to booking once you're in Abu Dhabi?
This tour runs from AED 650 per vehicle for up to three guests, higher than our Abu Dhabi based Private City Tour, since it includes several hours of additional driving and a longer overall day.
Can we add Ferrari World to this day trip?
It's tight but possible for energetic groups; ask us when you book and we'll be honest about whether it fits your specific pickup time. Most guests find our dedicated City Tour with Ferrari World, run from an Abu Dhabi base, a more comfortable way to combine both.
Is this trip manageable with young children or older relatives?
It's a long day for anyone, and worth considering carefully for very young children or guests who tire easily. We're happy to talk through pacing honestly before you book, including whether a shorter Abu Dhabi based tour might suit your group better.
